I am still working out a few kinks!

I just noticed that when an article is posted in the blog section, only a link is showing up in the forum, it should be the entire thing so that you don’t have to flip back and forth. This post is to test the setting and see how it comes out. I am hoping that it will also post a comment in the blog when a reply is posted in the forum, we’ll see, I am a bit new to this forum plugin, which, by the way is a great tool, check it out here.
If you are an avid WordPress user, you already know that WordPress is very secure, I have the registration set to require first and last name, that keeps the SPAMMERS away, but I also have it set to not show your personal info, if you notice that something is showing that you feel shouldn’t, let me know.
As far as recruitment goes, I am thinking about having registration with a “secret” code, again, I am not familiar with this part of the plugin, and again, these two plugins, the Simple Press Forum and Register Plus, may not play well together, so, if you notice any problems, let me know. Anyway, back to the secret code thing. Once we get our “core” membership, things could get messy with what I call “hit and run” SPAMMERS, you know, they sign up just to post a link to some sort of porn site or something, then run away, but, if we have a secret code, and we can change it if need be, maybe even one code for each moderator, anyway, I am getting ahead of myself. For now, register, login, and post a comment or something, and tell all of your friends, lets make this site work! Have a good one!

I just uploaded a new avatar and it worked fine, in the upper right area, above the forums, you will see a link that says Profile, click that and you should be able to find the upload avartar link inside your profile. Just make sure that your avatar is the correct size, if it is too big, it won't accept it. The easiest thing you can do is use a Gravatar, click here to get one, you can upload and resize the image if you need to there. Let me know if there is anything else, welcome to the site!

OK, I looked at your profile and you had uploaded an image, but the size was too big, so, I changed the setting, it was a default 50x50px, I changed it to 100px. I am glad this came about or I wouldn't have even noticed, 50px is a bit small. Again, thanks for joining, now lets get more members!
